Sharing the Stage with Musical Icons

Throughout his illustrious career, Chris Farmer has had the privilege of sharing the stage with an impressive array of musical icons. From Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles to The Beach Boys, where he served as a member, musical director, and vocal arranger for a remarkable 12 years, Chris’s contributions to these legendary acts have been nothing short of exceptional.

Chris’s tenure with The Beach Boys holds a special place in his heart. Initially hired as the bass player and background vocalist, he also had the honor of assuming the role of musical director after the passing of beloved guitarist and vocalist Carl Wilson. Chris’s understanding of the band’s harmonies and his ability to sing every part of their famous vocal stack, from the resonant bass to the soaring falsetto, cemented his status as an expert. From 1995 to 2007, Chris served as the bass player and vocalist for the iconic band. From 1999 to 2007, Chris held the position of musical director and vocal arranger, responsible for preserving and enhancing the band’s unique sound. During this time, Chris sang every part in The Beach Boys’ famed vocal stack, delivering flawless harmonies and capturing the essence of their renowned sound.
